Laura Tempini
Instructional Designer & eLearning Developer
Hi, I'm Laura! Thanks for taking a moment to view my website.
Who I Am
As a resident of Colorado, I love to take advantage of the beauty here by going on hikes, camping, snowboarding, exploring new restaurants, and practicing yoga. I also love to spend time visiting museums and galleries, seeing how different cultures have expressed themselves throughout time. However, my desire to explore isn't limited to Colorado. I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to travel to several countries across the world, each one offering unique experiences. Living abroad in both New Zealand and Cambodia provided me with valuable opportunities to immerse myself in different cultures and gain new perspectives. As an artist, I draw inspiration from my surroundings, making the pursuit of beauty and adventure core values in the work that I do.
As someone who is passionate about exploring, creativity, and art, I also appreciate adaptability, communication, and problem-solving. I believe that these skills are vital in any professional setting, and I strive to bring them to every aspect of my work. As an instructional designer, I'm motivated to create learning journeys that are engaging, interactive, and purposeful. My goal is to create experiences that empower learners to change their beliefs, behaviors, and skills. I believe that by applying valuable knowledge gained through effective instructional design, learners are able to improve their overall performance, skills, and efficiency, resulting in greater success at work.
As a former instructional coach and educator, I have designed and facilitated instructor-led curriculum to K-12 students, and have led professional development sessions for teachers and school leaders. Building upon this experience, I've been able to apply my knowledge of learning theory and design to develop impactful trainings for a wide range of leaders, from first-level to senior positions in my role on the Leadership Development team. In this role, I've also been able to apply my skills as a project manager by guiding project teams to achieve successful outcomes through through effective planning, organizing, and coordinating of resources, all while ensuring clear communication.
What I know is this: the world of Learning and Development is always evolving. I'm excited to be apart of it and look forward to connecting with you along the way!
